Being an apologist is not easy. Writing, travelling, meetings, studying, debating, and online trolls can be taxing. How does the team at The Daily Apologist manage to do so much? What is our secret weapon? Simply put, it is our loved ones. To our loved ones, we want to say thank you.

Thank you for your support. Facing reality, it would be ten times harder for this work to thrive the way it has if none of our loved ones were on board. Like warriors sent off to battle, there are times where we return victorious, and we celebrate. Other times we face heavy scrutiny online, or maybe we feel like our presentation didn’t go as well as we wanted it to go—we return, and you mend our wounds, doubts, and self-confidence issues. Other times, the simple fact that you show up means the world to us. In a crowd full of strangers, it is comforting to know that the most important person this side of eternity, is there providing peace and comfort.

Thank you for your input. We are all guilty of tunnel vision. We can believe we are right about a certain topic, direction, or tone because after all, we’re the apologists. Yet, our loved ones give us another set of eyes, a different perspective on how a blog, picture, video, etc., might impact the audience for good or for bad.

Our secret weapon in this life certainly includes leaning on God for strength and comfort. Being an apologist is not easy, thankfully, as we pray for help, support, and input, God answers our prayers by giving us you, our loved ones.
